About Jim's Native Wood

-      Jim’s Native Wood  has been family owned and operated for 30 years by Jim and Jerred Paul.  Our main business is sawing, drying, milling and marketing five native species of tongue and groove  (T/G) paneling, amd moldings. The native species would include cedar, ash, tamarack, basswood and birch.  Our products are all kiln dried, milled and sanded and then graded.  (Grading is an important issue!  Many mills do not do this.)  If you should so choose, all of our products can be pre-finished.

     In addition to the paneling, we make cedar sauna doors, ash hope chests, and “sit-upons” - or entry way door chairs.   Custom built cabinets, fireplace mantles and bars are also a part of what we offer.  
     We also have ash firewood to keep you warm on the cold winter nights that will soon be here.
